Aim For Moderate to Small Competition. In addition to using long-tail keywords, also look for phrases that have little or even no competition. This will help to make sure that your web page turns up at or near the top of search engine results. For example, if there are only 8 other marketers using your exact phrase and the search engines show 10 results per page, then your page should be on the first page of results.

See What Keywords Your Competition Is Using. It's always a good idea to check out the competition to see what other keywords they're using and the content they're using to attract more customers.

To help you find keywords you can use Google's free Keyword Planner which you can find by going to Google's homepage and clicking on "Advertising." That will take you to opening an AdWords account so that you can use their keyword software.

But there's Light at the End of the Tunnel - Allow reality to set in, get comfortable and accept the fact that your Primary Focus is learning. NOT EARNING, Learning as much as you possibly can about your Niche. It starts with Testing Your First Product, and consider it as Pure Learning where you expect nothing but progress (Not Perfection). Whatever system you decide to test, be sure that the training starts with Keyword Research.

I know I sound like a Broken Record, but that is the One And Only Secret of Successful Affiliate Marketing. Now you may want to take a look at one of the training programs I find second to none when it comes to WordPress and Search Engine Optimization.

In fact, most of my own Blogging tactics I have learned I have done so with this exact system and I'm a member to this day! What I like most, is the fact that it starts by guiding you to discover your profitable Niche first and then on to Keywords.
